Rental Information and Policies

Something Borrowed strives to achieve customer satisfaction at all times. To help assist you with your planning we have provided this list of the most frequently asked questions. Please feel free to contact us by email regarding any of our items or services at any time. Thank you for choosing Something Borrowed for your special event!

 

What are your showroom hours?

Our showroom is open by appointment only, meetings can be arranged from 10am to 4pm, Monday through to Friday, (closed 1st December until 7th January) we encourage you to schedule an appointment in advance especially for customers traveling from overseas with limited time in Mallorca to avoid disappointment.

How does your delivery service work?

The transport charge is calculated by time and distance from our showroom to your venue, based on one delivery time & one collection time. Normal delivery hours are 9am to 5 pm, Monday through to Saturdays. Deliveries & collections can be made 24 hours a day but there is an additional fee for deliveries outside normal hours.

Does Something Borrowed set up the equipment?

Something Borrowed offer a set up and break down service on many of the items we supply for an additional charge, this will be shown on the quote, alternatively we are happy to provide specific information on request.

Security deposit, missing or damaged items policy?

The security deposit is fully refundable, a deduction would only be made to cover the cost of repairing or replacing missing / damaged items.

When should I request a quotation?

To avoid disappointment and ensure the availability of your desired rental items, a request for quotation should be placed as soon as you know the details of your event.

What is your payment policy?

A deposit payment (50% of total) is required to confirm items listed on your quote and our services. Final payment should be received 72 hours prior to delivery. Payment should be made via bank transfer our account details are listed at the foot of our quotes. Bank transfers from outside Spain can take 4 working days to be processed.

Rental Tips:

Prior to your event, we recommend you designate a person or persons to be a point of contact for our delivery crew, available to check all items at time of delivery & to help with positioning information. If you wish to see items prior to renting so that you are sure they will meet your needs and satisfaction, you are welcome to make an appointment to visit our showroom in advance of placing your order. Just contact us and we’ll be happy to arrange a visit.

Rental Fees

All charges are for a certain time period whether the item is used or not, so please make your selections carefully. Prices are quoted for a one-day (single event) use. Should you desire to use the equipment for a longer period of time, please contact us to receive an amended quote specific to your needs.
